Thursdays.  My longest days.  I have class from 8:30 am to 10:00 pm.  With a few hours off around lunch time.  I’ll let you know how it goes tomorrow.

Had a very Parisian day the other day.  A bottle of wine, slices of baguette slices of cheese, and an afternoon at Jardin de Luxembourg (a HUGE [and very ascetically appealing] garden).  We actually mixed the wine to make a drink called Kir.  After that we went to a Monoprix to get groceries and made dinner.  We stopped at about 3 shoe places along the way at Kaamna’s demand.  One of the shoe places didn’t have her size but was receiving the next shipment in 30 mins, so we went to a bar/café intending to get coffee, but it was happy hour so I ended up getting some tequila + orange juice + grenadine cocktail and she got more kir.  We bought food for four, but Kristian and Sasha ended up canceling due to too much homework.  We had sausages, green beans, tomatoes, a salad, carrots, etc. in butter and garlic.  Oh, and more baguette, cheese, and wine of course.  A rather lazy and calorie filled day, but quite enjoyable nonetheless.  It doesn’t hurt that the I casually pass The Louvre, The Notre Dame, The Seine River, The Hotel de Ville, The Fountain de Saint Michael, and countless other famous and gorgeous sites every day.

On another note, I’ll be using a Nikkormat 35mm with a 50mm prine lens for my black and white photography class.

Loving life but twice as poor,
Hai Ngo
