Back at Carleton

So I'm back at Carleton now.  These are the hai-lights of my last night in the cities.  That's the new 35W bridge in case you didn't know.  I have a working photoshop right now... for 30 days anyways.  But I can't seem to find anything to open and convert my NEF files...

  1. dang those are sweet pix. i had no idea they'd glow like that from underneath cuz i've drove on top of it at night and its blue, but i never got a chance to look in to the water.

nice shots, where were u shooting from?

  2. I actually am not really sure where it is... in terms of how to actually get there. When you drive on the bridge, if you look to one of the sides, you see another bridge (#1) and then another smaller bridge (#2) made of stone. That's the best I can do for directions lol. But yeah, I took it from a small stone bridge on the U of M campus.

  3. The lighting is really cool in the picture. The dark gray sky helps make the blue of the water and the city lights pop out more. When people wander around the city they may see the towering buildings, the hobo sitting in the park, or the trash on the street but this picture shows a view of the city that many people miss out on.

  4. the second picture is really cool because you can see the 35w bridge and in the background you can see the stone arch bridge too! the coloring is really nice. did you use a tripod?

  5. No tripod. I didn't bring it along. I just set the camera down on one of the mini pillaresque stone stumps of the bridge and took the shot. That's why the first one is a little blurry if you view it at full size.
